Describe your grandparents' houses. Did you visit them often? Why or why not?

Directions:
We lived near my mother's parents - W.T. and Mary Ann (Mollie) Carothers. The property joined so we visited most everyday-maybe several times-to borrow something or to get vegetables from the garden, etc.
Daddy's parents-Grandpa and Grandma Walker lived near Finger, TN. This was about 20 miles from where we lived. The roads were bad in the winter so we did not go often. But, we really enjoyed it when we did go. Grandma Mary Lou (Daddy's stepmother) would meet us with outstretched arms. We were all happy to see each other.
