Where was your childhood home located? Did you enjoy living there?

Directions:
My first home was in a small town in Cambria, Illinois. My daddy built the house-a living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. When I was about five years old the coal mines in Illinois were shut down and Daddy had no job.
So, we moved to Adamsville, TN near my grandparents (Carothers). Daddy later built us another house on the same plan as the one in Illinois. In 1938 we moved near Enville, TN in Chester County. We had a grocery store with living room, bedroom and kitchen built back of the store (one building). Another bedroom and kitchen were added later. I lived there till I married-June '45.
