1 lb. Butter
1 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
4 cups All Purpose Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325©

Cream butter and brown sugar until light.
Beat in flour gradually.

Pat in 13 x 9 pan.
Poke holes with a fork ever 1/2 inch

Bake for 40 minutes.

Cut into squares 10 minutes are removing from oven.

Remove from pan when completely cooled.

Store in a airtight container.

I can't take credit for this recipe. It comes from the wife of a co-worker. This shortbread is as authentic as you can get....just don't calculate the fat or calorie content. It's a very nice Christmas gift in a pretty box with a plaid tartan bow. Everyone will want this recipe once they taste it.
