1 lb. butter (softened)
1 pint vanilla ice cream
4 cups sifted flour

Soften butter mix with flour, add ice cream and mix well. Roll in balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Make indentations in middle of each one. Put preserve in the middle and bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.
