1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 ½ oz.) chili beans
1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (11 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 envelop taco seasoning
1 package (13 oz.) nacho tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a Dutch oven or large pan, cook the beef, onions and green peppers over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, beans, corn, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes (mixture will be thin).

In a greased 13-in x 9-in x 2-in baking dish, layer 5 cups of chips and 4 2/3 cups of meat mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining chips and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
