2 1/2 baking powder
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
Directions:

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening with knives until like coarse meal. Add milk and stir with fork. Drop onto cookie sheet with a teaspoon. Bake at 450º for 12/15 minutes.
