Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
1 ½ tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking soda
3 ¾ c. sugar
1 ½ c. vegetable oil (original recipe called for Mazzola oil, but vegetable works fine)
3 c. cold coffee
3 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Sift all dry ingredients together and pour into mixer bowl. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour all wet ingredients into the center of the well. Beat well, but batter will be runny. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake for one hour, or slightly longer, testing with a toothpick. Cool in pan, then flip.

Personal Notes:
The cake is delicious without frosting, but you can also top it with your favorite frosting (see Jodie's easy white chocolate frosting recipe).

Stacey has made these as cupcakes that were a big hit, but don't bake as long in the oven.

Be sure to invest in an actual tube pan, which you may have to order online. An angel food cake pan with removable bottom can't be used because batter will leak through.
