Angel Food Cake Recipe

1 1/8 cup sifted cake flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 3/4 cup egg whites
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almon
1/2 tsp lemon

Sift cake flour before measuring
Sift flour and 3/4 cup sugar together 5 times
Sift 1 cup sugar
Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar to form soft peaks-beat in 1 cup sugar gradually beating after each addition-add flavorings-fold in the flour sugar mixture by hand
Bake in angel food cake pan @375 degrees for 30 minutes
Invert cake pan when taken from oven and cool
completely before removing from pan
