12 oz. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz can spicy chili beans, drained
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1-2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
In a large saucepan cook ground beef, onion, sweet pepper and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, chili beans, tomato sauce, chili powder and basil. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
