3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 - 8 oz pkg of cream cheese
3 cups flour - sifted - 3x
2 t. almond extract

Directions:

Mix softened butter, sugar and cream cheese together. Add eggs one at a time, then add rest of ingredients. Spray bundt pan with Pam. Bake at 350 in cold oven for one hour. Check with toothpick.

From Mom: This is the best pound cake ever! You can substitute vanilla for almond if you don't like that flavor. As far as I know, this recipe was handed down to Katherine by her French mother and is one of her specialties. This cake made a big hit at a special dinner at Cindy's house!
