Peel and slice thin about 5 potatoes
Peel and slice thin one large onion
salt and pepper well
1/2 stick butter

Layer above in baking dish - dot butter all over. Cover and bake in 350 oven for about 45 minutes.

My Aunt Mary Anne used to make these all of the time - but, she preffered to make them on the grill - wrapped tightly in foil - easy and yummy!
