1/2 c. milk scalded
3 tbsp. margarine
2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. yeast
11/2 c. warm water
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
dissolve yeast in 11/2 cup warm water.
mix together milk, margarine, salt and sugar.
separately mix together egg, and 1 tbsp. water set aside.
add yeast and water to milk and margarine mixture. mix, then add flour. It only takes 1/2 to 1 cup more flour to make dough as you knead it like bread.
Let rise 1 hour. Cut into four pieces. Cut one piece into half for two heads and other into four small pieces for arms. Shape like a bear. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes on greased cookie sheet. Glaze bears just before baking with egg and water mixture.
