3 1/2 cup flour
1 cup lard (shortening)
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 whole egg
2 egg yolks
1 cake yeast - 1/2 oz.
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix flour and lard.
Make a well in the center and mix in the rest of the ingredients.
Put in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Divide into 2 parts.
Into each part roll 1/2 cup sugar (sprinkle with sugar - fold and roll - do 3 times).
Cut in 1-1/2 x 3" strips.
Twist and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Cook on 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
