8 oz. room temperature cream cheese
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi sweet chocolate bits


1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. soda

1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1 TBSP vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat first group of ingredients together and then stir in chocolate bits and set aside

Mix second group of ingredients together

Add third group of ingredients to chocolate cake mixture

Using mini-muffin tin or standard muffin tin, fill paper lined cup 1/3 full with Chocolate Cake Mixture

Top with Cream Cheese Mixture

Sprinkle Cream Cheese Mixture topping with granulate sugar

Bake standard size cupcakes at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Bake mini cupcakes at 350 for about 20 minutes. Cool. Store in covered container in refrigerator. Freezes well.
