10 lbs small whole cucumbers
10 cloves garlic
10 hot red pepper pods
Fresh Dill
Course Pepper
4 Cups vinegar
3 quarts water
1 Cup salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and dry cucumbers - pack into sterilized jars - in each jar add a piece of peeled garlic & hot red pepper pod - 4 to 6 peppercorns & 1 large or 2 small sprigs of dill.

Combine water, salt & vinegar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over picles and seal.

This is an old recipe from our neighbor, when we lived outside of Kansas City - Mom used to make them all of the time - and I thought that the recipe was lost - worth the effort!
