4 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 pound raisins

1 tsp soda in 1 T Hot water
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and spices. Cut gum drops into the flour, also raisins and nuts. Mix all other ingredients together completely, add the dry mix to the wet mix a little at a time. Dough is rather stiff but that is OK. Put into 2 loaf pans after they are sprayed with Pam.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This looks like fruit cake but tastes like Candy and applesauce cake. It is a beautiful holiday gift. Cut it with a knife that has been sprayed with Pam or it will fall apart from the sticky Candy. You can add more fruits and spices, this is just the basic idea.
