2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 c shortening
1 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Break eggs into bowl and beat with egg beater until fluffy and light. Then set bowl aside.

In another bowl, put sugars and shortening and stir with wooden spoon until sugar is all blended with the shortening.

Add peanut butter and mix it in.

Add eggs and vanilla to bowl with peanut butter and mix well.

Put flour, baking soda, and salt into sifter set on wax paper and sift them into bowl; mix all together.

Put tsp of shortening on a small piece of wax paper and rub over cookie sheet.

Now roll 1 tbsp of dough into a ball and place it on cookie sheet. Press it down and crisscross with a fork dipped into flour.

Bake for 12-15 minutes.
