¼ lb. margarine
¾ lb. flour
1 quart hot milk
1 tbsp. chicken base
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
¼ tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

16 oz. sliced turkey breast
16 oz. sliced sugar cured ham
8 pieces white toast
8 slices ripe tomatoes
8 strips crisp bacon
4 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

For each hot brown – Place 2 pieces of toast on dinner plate. Tope with 4 oz. of ham and 4 oz. of turkey. Pour cheese sauce on top to cover. Place 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of bacon on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake at 350 until bubbling and brown.
