2 C flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 C shortening
1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda in 2 tsp boiling water
2 C rolled oats
1 pkg choc chips or white choc chips

Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix shortening, sugars, eggs, soda and vanilla together. Add mixed dry ingredients. Add oats and chocolate chips. Drop on cookie sheet by teaspoon. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Can be refrigerated and baked when you want a yummy cookie.
