2 packages dry yeast
½ cup warm water
2 eggs
4 tbls sugar
2/4 cup milk, lukewarm
2 tsp vanilla
3 ½ cups sifted flour
1 ¼ tsp salt

Syrup
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
5 tbls honey

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy.
Add milk, sugar and vanilla.
Stir in yeast, and half of the dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth, add remaining dry ingredients.
Beat with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Let stand in greased bowl until doubled in size.
Stir batter.
Drop by scant teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
Cook until light brown.
Serve Hot with syrup and cinnamon
Syrup-
Boil sugar and water together to make medium syrup, add honey and blend well.
