¾ cup peanut butter (preferably homemade)
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 ¼ cups unbleached all purpose flour
½ cup sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease baking sheets.
Combine peanut butter and butter in large bowl.
Add flour, sugars, egg, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix well.
Roll into 1-inch balls and arrange 3 inches apart on baking sheets.
Press crisscross pattern on cookies using fork. .
Bake until golden brown…about 10 to 12 minutes.
Transfer to wire rack and let cool. Store in airtight container.
