2 stalks broccoli
¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
3 tbls sherry
½ tsp salt
4 chicken breasts, cooked and thinly sliced
½ lb mushrooms
Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Steam broccoli in boiling salted water until tender. Drain. Place spears crosswise in a 13×9x2 baking dish.
Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour. Add chicken broth all at once and cook stirring constantly, till mixture thickens.
Stir in cream, sherry, salt and a dash of pepper.
Sauté mushrooms in separate saucepan in butter, cook until lightly browned, drain excess water and add to sauce.
Pour ½ of the sauce over the broccoli. Top with chicken slices. Pour the rest of the sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
