Grilled Artichokes Recipe

4 Medium to large artichokes, steamed

1 Cup Olive Oil
3 Cloves Minced Garlic
1 to 2 Tbls. Italian Seasoning or Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute
Cup Romano or Parmesan Cheese, very finely Grated
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste

Veganaise or mayo to dip

Wash artichokes and trim tops with sharp knife
Steam artichokes until the stems pull off easily.
Cut the chokes in half and scoop out the center.
Prepare the marinade, it should be soupy, if needed add additional olive oil
Cover cooked chokes in the marinade, allow marinade penetrate between leaves. Marinade for at least hour up to 4 hours.
Grill chokes cut side down until charred and flip to char the other side.
Add enough Vegenaise to the remaining marinade to make a dip.
Serve warm.
