Ingredients:  
1 pound Italian Sausage
1 cup water
2 tablespoons flour
16 ounces sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place sausage in skillet and cover with water
Simmer, uncovered, until water is evaporated
Brown sausage on all sides and lift out of skillet taking care not to pierce the skin
Mix the flour and water and pour into the skillet.
Simmer until thickened, whisking to prevent lumps
Fold in sour cream
Cut sausage into pieces and return to the gravy
Serve with biscuits or French bread
