2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. day-old bread pieces
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt; stir in bread. Stir in brown sugar and raisins. Pour mixture into an 8 x 1-3/4 inch round ovenware cake pan. Place pan in a larger shallow pan on oven rack; pour hot water into larger pan, 1 inch deep. Bake at 350ºF about 45 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
