12 carrots
2 onions, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. margarine
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, slice and cook carrots. Saute onions in margarine; stir in mustard, pepper and celery salt. Add flour and milk, stirring until combined. Cook over medium heat until thickened; set aside. Layer half the carrots in a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish; top with half the cheese then half the white sauce; repeat layers. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly on top. Serves 6
