1 C. butter or margarine
1 C. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 C. flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 (6oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter , sugar and egg until fluffy. Stir in vanilla, salt and flour. Pat mixture into a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch ungreased pan. Bake in slow 325º oven for 20 minutes.Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 2-3 minutes until chips melt. Remove from oven and spread to frost bars. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut into squares.
