1/2 lb. macaroni
4 oz. pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
glunk of butter
salt and pepper to taste

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Add rest of ingredients and mix in a 2 qt. casserole baking dish. Bake at 375º, uncovered, until brown and crunchy on top.
