Tom: Okay- Sue came to visit recently, and we were talking about Mom's recipes. Sue mentioned Mom's French Toast as one of her favorite things that Mom made, and for some reason that stuck in my head. When I started this book, I thought I should ask for this one too... Ann laughed, Mom laughed... and now I see why - no family secret here!
I do have fond memories of Mom's French Toast as a kid, but realize now that it was probably more to do with syrup and brown sugar.
