2 c. chopped broccoli - drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. Bisquick
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Grease 10 inch pie plate. Mix cooked broccoli, onions, green peppers; add cheese. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour over broccoli mixture. Bake 35-40 minutes at 400º until inserted knife comes out clean.

Two things will never be forgotten about Sally's cooking. The first is that she can cook for 200 people as easily as 20 or 2. This truth has been put to the test hundreds of times in the kitchen of the First Presbyterian Union Church in Owego. The second thing is that nobody makes a casseroles & comfort food like she can - as in this recipe. There is just something unique about the savory combinations of flavors she could combine and create that brings back great memories - this must be why they call it comfort food.
