3 c packed basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
1/2 c chopped nuts (pine nuts are best - walnuts will work)
3/4 c packed fresh parsley
3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 c melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a food processor until the mixture is smooth.

2. Toss with warm pasta for a main dish, or try spooning a teaspoon onto baguette slices topped with a small piece of fresh mozzarella, then broil until melted and bubbly.

I found a "low-fat" pesto recipe in the recipe binder also - interestingly, it's the same recipe as this one... my kind of low-fat!
