1/4 C water
1/4 C household ammonia
1/4 C laundry bluing
1/4 C. salt
Food coloring (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak pieces of sponge, brick, clay pots,or porous rocks in water until thoroughly wet. If you use a sponge, wring out excess water. Arrange on glass or ceramic shallow dish. (Don't use metal dish). Pour mixture of water, ammonia, and bluing over wet rocks until evenly dampened. You may put a drop or two of food coloring on the rocks for added color. Sprinkle the salt evenly over the rocks. Within a few hours your garden will grow and be covered with crystallites.
