1 c. cooked pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c oil
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking soda dissolved in 1 t. milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg. Stir together dry ingredients; add to pumpkin mixture and add baking soda and mix very well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375º for 10-12 min. Remove from baking sheet and let cool on racks.

This yummy recipe was given to me by my dear friend Dottie. I don't put the nuts in these, They are so nice and soft and cake-like.
