1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cup oats (whole, not instant)
1 cup walnuts
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease cookie sheet.

In a large mixing bowl blend shortening and sugar. Add one egg at a time, then adding vanilla and milk.

In separate mixing bowl combine brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking power, salt, and cinnamon.

Add dry mixture to wet mixture and stir in oats. Then, add nuts and raisins. Blend mixture well.

Create cookie dough balls using a teaspoons and place onto cookie sheet. Bake until cookies turn lightly brown on top (about 10-12 minutes).
