Ingredients: 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 box yellow butter cake mix 1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix 4 eggs 1/2 cup cold water 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup "Dark Bacardi(80 proof)" *If using cake mix with pudding already in the mix: omit the instant pudding mix, use 3 eggs instead of 4 and 1/3 cup oil instead of 1/2.
Glaze: 1 stick butter 1/4 cup water 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup Bacardi Dark Rum

Directions:While cake is cooking make the Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan, add sugar and water. Boil 5 minutes and remove from heat. Stir in RUM!
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. º Grease and flour tube pan or Bundt pan. Sprinkle chopped nuts in bottom of pan. Mix together all cake ingredients and pour over nuts. Bake for 1 hour. Cool. Invert on serving plate, and prick top to make holes. Spoon and brush glaze evenly on top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze, and use all of the glaze on cake |

Notes: My family loved this at Christmastime!~ I think we look forward to things that are only made at certain times...Tradition! Cake with a kick! serve with a dollop of whipped cream if you like. I remember the kids would run their fingers through the soggy cake left on the bottom of the cake plate...soaked with rum! YUM I love it~
