Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 qt. popped corn
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 t. vinegar
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Keep popcorn hot and crisp in slow oven (300-325º). Butter sides of saucepan (that's so the sugar won't stick to the pan and crystallize). In the pan, combine remaining ingredients except vanilla. Cook to hard-ball stage (250º). Add vanilla. Pour slowly over hot popped corn, stirring just to mix thoroughly. Butter hands lightly; shape balls.
Makes 15-20 balls.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a fun family activity. You have to work fast so that the mixture doesn't get to cool. When it gets cool, you can't form it into balls.
