1 1/3 lb cooked boneless ham sliced 1/4 inches thick
1/4 C butter
1 jar (12 ounces) pineapple preserves
1/4 C grenadine syrup or currant jelly
2 T lemon juice
1/4 C water
1 T corn starch
3 firm, ripe bananas
1 C fresh strawberry halves

Directions:
Directions:
Heat and lightly brown ham slices in 2 T butter in skillet. Keep warm. Combine pineapple preserves, grenadine syrup or currant jelly, lemon juice and remaining butter in saucepan. Blend water and cornstarch; stir into preserves. Cook stirring constantly until clear and thickened.
Cut bananas lengthwise then crosswise. Add bananas to sauce and heat, spooning sauce over bananas while they hear. Add strawberries, pour sauce over ham and allow to heat about 5 minutes. Arrange on a platter.
