-8 large green bell peppers
3 lbs of raw shrimp
2 lbs of cooked ham finely chopped
Italian Bread crumbs
Seasoning: fresh finely chopped garlic, parsley, green and yellow onions and celery
Season Salt to taste; cayenne pepper
4 tsp of Olive Oil or ½ stick of butter

** Chopped Mushrooms may be added to recipe**

Cut bell peppers in half, the remaining will be 12- 16 half peppers.
Boil bell peppers for 20 minutes until soft, but keeping shapes. Take out of water and place in shallow pan until ready to stuff.
Saute' seasoning, garlic first in olive oil or butter, then add yellow onions ( add a tsp. Sugar to caramelize onions);
Add shrimp and ham and saute' for 15 minutes.
Add other seasoning ( parsley, green onion and salt to taste.)
Add 1/2cup Italian bread crumbs to mixture.
Stuff peppers with mixture, sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake for 30 minutes at 300 degrees.©
