1 large tin - cherry pie filling
1 pkg. cream cheese (lite ok)
3/4 c white sugar
1/2 c milk
1 tub cool whip or 2 cups whipped cream
1 tsp vanilla

make the sauce:
beat cream cheese, sugar and add milk, then add beaten whip cream sented with vanilla/////
in a trifle or any pretty glass bowl, place half of the angel food cake that has been cut into cubes then spoon half the sauce and half the tin of cherries then repeat.
