1 C shortening
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cinnamon and sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cream of tartar, salt, soda. Blend together. Chill dough.
Roll into walnut size balls. Roll into a sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake until lightly brown but still soft. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
