2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cram together first 3 items. Add applesauce and combine remaining items. Bake in tube pan for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
