1 c. Crisco
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. peanut butter chips (optional)


Directions:
Directions:
Combine Crisco and peanut butter. Add sugars
and mix. Add eggs, milk and vanilla and mix.
Combine dry ingredients and add to above,
mixing well.
Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.

The original recipe came from Wee Wisdom childrens magazine in 1935 and has been a family favorite ever since. Our aunt Carolyn Stocum began adding the peanut butter chips when they became available.
