Poppy Seed Bread Recipe

1 1/2 c milk
3 T poppy seeds
1 1/2 t almond extract
3 eggs
1 c oil
1 1/2 t vanilla
1 1/2 t. butter flavoring

Mix together

3 c flour
1 1/4 t salt
2 1/3 c sugar
1 1/2 t baking powder

Mix and pour into 2 greased & floured bread loaf pans. Bake @ 325, 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

1/2 t vanilla
1/2 t almond extract
1/2 t butter flavoring
1/2 c orange juice
3/4 c sugar

Heat all in sauce pan until sugar dissolves. Broush on baked bread, leaving bread in pans at least 1 hour.
