Fresh ground pepper

Directions:
Peel turnips, cut turnips into 3/4” cubes. Cook in large pot of boiling salted water. While turnips cook, cook bacon in a frying pan until crisp. Once turnips are for tender drain and return to pot. Combine bacon dripping and bacon with turnips add mash. Add a handful of flour and fresh ground pepper. (Hint: freeze bacon slightly before cutting, it makes it easier)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Turnips are really difficult to cut. Poopy used to make the first few cuts with a hacksaw. Be careful of eating the turnips in excess, they help get "things" moving along.
