1/4 c. olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 – 28 oz cans of San Marzano tomatoes
1 c. dry red wine
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh oregano, basil, or thyme (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions, garlic, crushed red pepper, and salt and pepper in olive oil, over medium heat, until translucent. Add tomatoes and wine to onions, and turn heat to medium high. Simmer until reduced slightly, about 30 minutes. Pulse tomatoes with and immersion blender or crush with potato masher. Add desired fresh herbs.
