Pastry Bottom:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup margarine
3 tablespoons confectioners sugar

Filling:
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup coconut, shredded
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, cut into fourths

Preheat oven to 350º

Pastry Bottom: Mix ingredients by hand until crumbly. Spread into greased 8x8 inch pan. Bake 25 minutes.

Filling: Mix all ingredients into the beaten eggs. Pour on top of baked pastry crust. Bake an additional 25 minutes. Loosen edges and let cool. Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
