Ingredients:  
4 cups apple slices - peeled and sliced thin (about 6-7 large apples - gala, red delicious are great apples to use)

Topping:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine or butter (do not use low fat)
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mound apple slices in a buttered 8x8 pan.

Topping:
Combine topping ingredients and cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over apples.

Bake at 375º for about 45 minutes.

Serve warm with ice cream!
