3 1/2 cups of cake flour
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 eggs well beaten
2 tbsp. of baking powder
1/4 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. lemon or vanilla flovor(I like vanilla)
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Shortening and sugar together. Add salt. Add eggs. Sift flour then measure 3 1/2 cups. Sift flour and baking powder together. Mix well and set aside in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Roll dough and cut teacakes. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.
