3-4 lb roasting hen
1 medium onion chopped
1 c flour
1 t salt
3 c hot water
2 t chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cut chicken into pieces. Roll in flour to which salt and chili powder have been added. Brown onion and chicken in large skillet or Dutch oven. Pour water over top; simmer for 20 minutes. Cover and bake at 350º until tender (1 ½ to 2 hours).
