40 saltine crackers
1 cup of butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed
12 oz chocolate chips
1 cup of nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Place crackers on a cookie sheet, lined with aluminum foil. Just place the crackers side by side so they cover the entire cookie sheet.
Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil in a sauce pan and boil for 3 minutes.
Pour this mixture over the crackers, carefully.
Bake at 400º for 6 minutes.
Sprinkle with choc chips and let stand until softenend. Spread these chips over the top to cover everything and then sprinkle with nuts.
Place in freezer to cool.
Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

You will not believe how good these are. I could not figure out the cracker taste until someone told me they were saltines. You will never believe it. They do not have any kind of saltine taste.
I really like these and they are great to make ahead of the Holidays and store in containers for that unexpected guest!!!!
